Industry resources, communication and other updates relating to 2020 COVID-19.

The  entire sector is working together now more than ever to ensure that food is readily available in Canada.  There are evolving messages from different stakeholders.  This page will host all the current information and links in one place.

Provincial

AgSafe BC

Emergency planning resources including prevention procedures, pandemic protocols, health questionnaires, and safety notices for workers.

BC Centre for Disease Control

  • Information about COVID-19, how to protect yourself, your family and your community and what to do if you suspect you have the virus.

BC Chicken Growers Association (BCCGA)

BCCGA will email the Canadian Federation of Agriculture (CFA) survey to all growers. Growers should complete this survey to help identify any issues caused by the COVID-19 outbreak that are affecting your farm businesses. Responses to the surveys will be integral as CFA works with the Federal Government to support Canadian agriculture.   BCCGA will monitor the survey results to help identify issues in B.C. and support growers accordingly.

BC Chicken Marketing Board

Beginning May 1, 2020 BCCMB started sending weekly updates to growers and industry stakeholders which are also posted on our website in the reports and orders section.
