Aspiring chefs, home cooks, families, and all others are also invited to visit BCChickenMonth.com to view and print a range of recipes made especially for this occasion. Visitors can also enjoy videos with local restaurants, information from our partners, and even details for the family on how fresh local chicken is raised.
“We are so excited to celebrate BC Chicken Month,” says Cheryl Davie, BC Chicken Marketing Board representative. “Along with our many partners, we are sure that there will be something for everyone as we celebrate local farmers, restaurants, chefs, and delicious Canadian chicken.”
Social media for the month will also provide a long list of exciting attractions including prizes from White Spot, BC Agriculture in the Classroom and more to be announced. Follow all the events with the hashtag #BCChickenMonth and on our social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram using @BCChickenSquad.
