The BC Chicken Marketing Board is made up of five members who are responsible for the effective governance of the broiler chicken industry.
Three members are appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council, to serve as Chair and two Directors. Two members are elected registered growers to serve as Directors.
In addition to their roles on the Board, each member serves on a variety of committees to represent the chicken-growing industry at a provincial and national level. These committees cover a wide variety of topics including finance, food safety, and emergency response.
We are proud to have such dedicated and experienced individuals on our Board, working to support and promote the chicken-growing industry in British Columbia.
