The Board Staff of the BC Chicken Marketing Board plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the organization. They work under the direction of the Executive Director and are responsible for various tasks such as completing allocations every eight weeks, collecting grower levies, conducting On-Farm Food Safety and Animal Care Program inspections, as well as keeping growers informed about the latest developments in the industry.
The Executive Director (ED) of the BC Chicken Marketing Board oversees the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the organization, promotes the interests of the chicken industry in British Columbia, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements. The Executive Director collaborates with stakeholders and manages resources to support the sustainable growth of the BC chicken industry.
The Executive Assistant (EA) of the BC Chicken Marketing Board generates reports, and presentations and briefs board members and staff within the organization as necessary. The EA is involved in most if not all of the work undertaken, developing systems to keep the company running smoothly much like a Chief of Staff. The EA reports directly to the Executive Director.
The controller leads all financial operations, ensuring accurate accounting procedures, timely financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and budgeting. The Controller reports directly to the Executive Director.
The Director of Policy at the BC Chicken Marketing Board oversees the implementation, development, and evaluation of the Board’s policies. They collaborate and consult with industry stakeholders and the BCCMB team, reporting directly to the Executive Director, to ensure that operations meet regulatory requirements.
The Production Coordinator at the BC Chicken Marketing Board administers the quota holdings, allocation, and production for all registered growers. The Production Coordinator role reports to the Director of Policy.
The Manager of Administration at the BC Chicken Marketing Board ensures the Administrative Assistant, Market Intelligence Analyst and Field Service Representatives have the support they need to complete their tasks in a timely and efficient manner. The Manager of Administration reports directly to the Executive Director.
The Field Service Representative audit CFC’s On-Farm Food Safety and Animal Care Programs. The Field Service Representative reports to the Manager of Administration.

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for welcoming and greeting guests, answering phone calls and emails, handling incoming mail and deliveries, and collaborating with our team to ensure the smooth operations of the Chicken Board office. The Administrative Assistant reports to the Manager of Administration.
