The new OML Policy remains under development. The Board will not implement the proposed change to Over-Marketing Levies by Period A-200 (January 11, 2026) as originally proposed in September (via the Policy Directions for Public Feedback document).
Programming to supporting the administration of the updated OML is under development. Once testing is complete, the Board will announce the implementation period, procedures, and penalty calculation details—with enough notice for you to plan your production accordingly.
Many rules still apply and there are changes coming. For details, please read the full memo.

This update is rooted in the Board’s resolve to “give growers more flexibility with their production” — the second of four priorities announced in September, resulting from consultations with growers and others hosted in 2024 and 2025. This priority focuses on making changes to the OMLs.
Stay tuned for more information—the Board will send an email and update our website when the new OML policy is ready to be implemented.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation in these matters.
