On July 30, 2026, the Board appointed Craig Evans as its Board-appointed non-grower member — a new role within its updated structure — effective September 1, 2026, to March 31, 2029.
This decision was supported through consultation with the Primary Poultry Processors Association of BC (PPPABC) and the BC Growers’ Association (BCCGA).
The Board is grateful to Craig for his years of service as the provincially-appointed director, which falls under the Board’s outgoing governance structure and ends on August 31, 2026. We thank him for his renewed commitment as the board-appointed director.

The Board is confident that maintaining Craig’s leadership on the Board will provide valuable stability for the Board’s processes as it adapts to its new composition, which was announced this past June. During this term, the Board will develop a clear, merit-based process to ensure that subsequent appointments are transparent and well understood.
